TRAE HARRIS

ACTOR, PERFORMANCE ARTIST
NYC, USA

Trae Harris is one of those women that is the human embodiment of globalization — a mosaic of cultures and artistic pursuits pieced together to form one of the most exciting and mesmerizing individuals living in New York City today. Originally from Baltimore, Trae is an artistic chameleon having created a personal melting pot consisting of alter egos, artistic performances, film roles, poetry writing, modeling as well as social and political involvement on a national level. With her thick long dreads, bright red lips, indigenous jewels and Indian-inspired bindis adorning her forehead, her life story is as long and inspiring as that of someone who has led nine lives.

LEX WEINSTEIN

BOHEMIAN, STYLIST, SURFER
BYRON BAY, AUSTRALIA

With deep roots in the universe, Lex Weinstein, a freelance stylist and surfer living in Byron Bay, Australia, is an extraordinary creative force inspired by travel. Describing herself as “a true bohemian girl,” it doesn’t do justice to the substance of her gypsy aesthetic — a look that’s intelligent and without affectation. From her free-spirited uniform to her worldly perspective, Lex symbolizes strength, finding the solutions in chance encounters and using universal reminders to guide her.

DANI KOWALCZYK

MODEL, WRITER, NOMAD
CHICAGO, USA

A model, writer, nomad and child of the world, Dani Kowalczyk is a woman who doesn’t associate the concept of home with a singular place. A natural progression from a semi-nomadic childhood, Dani’s inspiration to continue traveling has taken her from one adventure to the next, living all around the world. Quiet and minimalist, yet confident, her sartorial self-expression, travel tales and life philosophy expose the unusual blend of being grounded and appreciating the simplicity life has to offer.

ELLIE LANDSMAN

ARTIST, PAINTER, JEWELRY DESIGNER
CHICAGO, USA

Featured Minds of Issue 2
Featured Minds of Issue 2

For artist, painter and jewelry designer Ellie Landsman, there was always a need to understand more than what she could see within the confines of a classroom. A walking canvas that radiates with a taste for authenticity and cultural mythology, everything in her world is a reflection of her imagination and visions. Inspired by magical surrealism, dreams, education theorists and really raunchy male writers like Tom Robbins and Henry Miller her work inspires to transport you to another place. An accidental philosopher, Ellie embraces the ephemeral in almost everything — harness the magic in the present moment.
