Issue 3

As digitalization continues to connect every facet of our lives and with those across the globe, we explore the various permeations and impact it has for those centered in the rapid pace mega cities to those roaming off-the-grid.

We look at how Western brands make their way into the Tibetan lifestyle, and those balancing it Chennai, India. We feature photographer Jelito De Leon of Manila who uses social media to grow his community, while learning how craft brewers in Norway are legally prohibited from marketing their product via traditional mediums.

Binge watching is a new habit formed from digitalization, so we digress with two screenwriters on the pros and cons between broadcast, cable and streaming platforms like Netflix.

Digitalization has also enabled a new niche within careers allowing one to be a digital nomad where you can work anywhere in the world as long as you have a computer and internet connection, but this new occupational dream is only attainable for those with a certain passport, as we investigate.
